About Me
From a young age I was fascinated by artistic creation through paint and music.
I started painting again a few years ago after many years of not touching a brush or pallet knife.
Times changed, people changed and I found myself looking a bit deeper in the mirror.
I began to create again and embarked on a journey of discovery to explore the colour in relationship, music and emotion.
My work process is largely intuitive, stemming from a key moment, emotion or sound. Stylistically, my work focuses on abstraction with a dabble of figurative work inspired by the Poolbeg Chimneys in Dublin City where I grew up.
I am lucky enough to have been published in Artist magazine and had a piece acquired by Hang Tough Contemporary for Hyde, Dublin. My work is also present in private collections in Ireland, U.K., Spain & Italy.
Each piece is an homage to an artist in their own right. A musician, a storyteller, an inspirer or a melody of sound.
Whether you love them or hate them, it’s knowing that a piece of my art has impacted you in some way that makes creating them worthwhile.
